Information and deadlines for NEW&F Programs

Dependant Care Reimbursement Fund – Re-enrollment applications are due into the NEW&F office by May 31st. A member may enroll at any time during the year but will be approved and be able to receive reimbursement beginning in the month that they have a complete and approved application with NEW&F.
Summer Camp – Members can receive up to $300.00 for qualified Summer Camp expenses incurred between June 21st and August 28th Members children aged 5-17 are eligible.
Wellness – Applications for reimbursement for Wellness expenses during the months of January 2021 through June 30th 2021 must be mailed into the NEW&F office postmarked by June 30th.
Elder Care – We are in the 2nd Quarter April – June, applications for this time frame are due into the NEW&F office by July 30th.
Pendant – Same parameters as Elder care.

2021 Election

Ballots have been mailed out for the 2021 IBEW Local 2323 Election. If you have not received yours by Wednesday, May 12th please contact election judge Tim Beaudry to have a new one sent out.

Subject:   Annual Re-Enrollment in the Dependent Care Reimbursement Fund

Dear Dependent Care Reimbursement Fund Participant,

The New England Work and Family Committee would like to remind all participants that in order to continue participating in the Dependent Care Reimbursement Fund, you must re-enroll in the program by May 30, 2021.  

To re-enroll you will need to complete a new application and submit a copy of your 1040 federal tax return, including 2441 form, for year 2020 and your W-2 for year 2020 and your spouse’s 1040 and W2 for 2020 if applicable. Please void out social security numbers. If you have any question please feel free to contact the New England Work and Family Staff. 

Following are some, but not all, eligibility requirements:

Total household income must be less than $150,000.

Dependents must be listed on your tax return.

You pay for care in order to work.

You and your spouse must work during the hours you need care.

Provider must be one of the following: legally operating, licensed, a relative or appropriate in-home care.
